Our manipulation cloths are a great way to keep your bees calm whilst inspecting your hive. They can help reduce the number of bees flying, whilst helping maintain the temperature & light exposure of the hive. Read on to see how our manipulation cloths can help you & your bees.

Keeping The Bees Cool

Ideally, when we are inspecting our hives, we want the temperatures to be 15 °or more. With that said, excessive heat can melt the comb and cause the bees to overheat when the hive is opened. Our manipulation cloth allows a frame to be taken out for examination while keeping the other frames undisturbed and safe from direct sunlight. This ensures your colony can stay cooler during inspection and calmer to handle.

Hygiene

Our manipulation cloths are machine washable! We designed our clothes to have a Velcro seal, allowing you to detach from the stainless steel frame, making it easy to wash between uses, and helping stop the spread of diseases.
